Providing Boxing Programs Outbush

The Northern Territory homes many remote communities throughout the bush. These communities are usually isolated and have limited accessibility to services and programs.

As of 2022, the Arrernte Community Boxing Academy has partnered with Ngurratjuta Aboriginal Corporation and Rise Ngurratjuta to deliver boxing programs to the communities of Papunya, Haasts Bluff, Mt. Liebig and Mutitjulu.

Through these initiatives we have been able to bring high profile Australian Boxers to remote communities to give  children the opportunity to meet inspiring role models and access our boxing delivery service.

Some of our guest boxers have included 2 x World Champion 'Bang Bang' Lulu Hawton, Former WBA and IBF Champion Daniel Geale, Masters Boxer Buddy Oldman and former WBA Champion Paul 'Showtime' Fleming just to name a few.

Arrernte Boxing also works with the Mparntwe - Alice Springs community, collaborating with Tangentyere Council to deliver sports programs in the town's sixteen Town Camps.
